The Tyne Canal Boats
These boats can sleep a maximum of 4 people.
Features : There is full radiator central heating on the boat. A 150 gallon water tank supplies the hot and cold running water. There is a double-filtered drinking water system. The flooring is easy clean vinyl.
Facilities
The following facilities can be found on board many of the boats in this class
Design : The Viking Tyne Class is a 48ft long, 4 berth cruiser stern narrowboat. It has a quiet water-cooled diesel engine with simple to use controls.
Saloon : Radio/CD player; colour TV/DVD player.
Kitchen : The kitchen is fully equipped and has a 4 burner gas cooker with grill and oven; refrigerator; sink and drainer; saucepans; cooking utensils; crockery and cutlery appropriate for the number of berths. There is plenty of storage space and work surfaces.
Bathroom : The bathroom comes complete with a shower, wash hand basin and flush toilet. A 240v shaver socket is also available.
Berths : As this is a 4 berth boat, there is a choice of a double berth or two singles in the rear cabin. An optional dinette/double or 2 singles are available in the saloon.
Bedding : Freshly laundered bedding is supplied for each crew member, as per your requirements. Additional bedding is available upon request. Towels are also supplied - one medium sized towel per crew member, and one hand towel per bathroom.
